  • HTX Black Tennis Club is a Houston-based tennis and community organization centered on wellness, connection, and culture. We create inclusive spaces for Black tennis players, supporters, and allies to play, connect, and build community on and off the court.

  • HTX Black Tennis Club centers and celebrates Black culture in tennis, but we welcome players and supporters of all backgrounds who align with our mission and values.

  • HTX Black Tennis Club hosts events at various tennis facilities and community spaces throughout Houston. Event locations are shared with registered participants in advance.

  • No experience is required. We welcome all skill levels—from beginners to advanced players. Our events range from instructional clinics to social play and competitive opportunities.

  • Players are encouraged to bring their own rackets and water. Limited equipment may be available at select events, but availability is not guaranteed.

  • Some events are open to the public, while others are reserved for members. Membership provides priority access, discounts, and exclusive benefits depending on your tier.

  • Event registration links are shared via email, social media, and the website. Members receive priority access and early notifications.

  • Once capacity is reached, additional registrants may be placed on a waitlist. Members are prioritized when space becomes available.

  • Since tennis is mostly played outdoors, weather conditions are most likely to influence a decision to cancel an event. This will be communicated through all possible channels; however, Instagram is the best way to remain apprised of such changes.
